6 Night Cruise sailing from Gran Canaria to Lisbon aboard Fram.
Join our unforgettable Easter voyage to the colourful cultural towns of Northern Africa and Southern Europe. We visit the beautiful Canary Islands and join the Easter celebrations, before we set course towards Morocco and its exotic coastal cities. We will call at multicultural Gibraltar before we head further north towards Portugal's pearls.
DAY 1 Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (Maundy Thursday)
Our adventure starts in Gran Canaria, often referred to as a "Miniature Continent" due to the different climates and a variety of landscapes. Gran Canaria is under protection as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
DAY 2 Arrecife, Lanzarote (Good Friday)
Welcome to a land of mountains and volcanoes, beaches and forests, tiny villages and breathtaking views. Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote. This quiet, beautiful port city is situated on the eastern coast of the island.
DAY 3 Agadir, Morocco (Easter Eve)
After a large earthquake in the 60s, Agadir was practically redesigned and transformed into a beautiful resort. Agadir's sandy shores, modern coastal city feel and choice of hotels attract numerous European visitors, especially during the winter months.
DAY 4 Casablanca, Morocco (Easter Sunday)
Casablanca is a city with a rich heritage where various arts, cultures and old traditions live harmoniously together. You will find an atmosphere of traditions and a thousand small crafts and trades in the maze of alleys and workshops, and in the other end of town fashionable Art Deco architecture.
DAY 5 Gibraltar
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory located at the entrance of the Mediterranean. The Rock of Gibraltar is a landmark and home to the Barbary Macaques. These monkeys, in addition to a labyrinth of tunnels, attract a large number of tourists every year. At the foot of the cliff you find the town centre, which certainly is a charming little piece of Britain.
DAY 6 Portimão, Portugal
Portimão is a popular holiday resort on the Algarve coast. The weather is amongst the best in Europe and offers around 300 days of sunshine each year.
DAY 7 Lisbon, Portugal
Lisbon is a legendary city with centuries of history, built on seven hills along the shores of the river Tagus.
