Costa Pacifica
Costa Pacifica

11 Night Cruise sailing from Kiel roundtrip aboard Costa Pacifica.

In tune with the sea: Costa Pacifica is born
Imagine the most thrilling music of all times and transfer it to a ship that encapsulates all that is best in Costa cruising. The result is Costa Pacifica, a combination of wonderful music and supreme elegance. The music, played and listened to in every public area on board, has inspired the ship's design, each area characterised by a different type of music. The secret of Costa Pacifica is simple: a unique compilation of the best offered by our four earlier ships: Serena, Concordia, Magica and Fortuna.

Highlights of this cruise:

Kiel
The capital of Schleswig-Holstein is a distinctive city known for its maritime and naval tradition. As a result of the city's interesting peninsular formation, all roads lead to the town centre.

Gdynia
Gdansk, in northern Poland, is a rich port and an active industrial centre on the one hand, and an ancient city steeped in culture on the other. The city centre is interesting because of its beautiful buildings along Dluga and Dlugi Targ streets, which is where rich aristocrats and powerful merchants used to live. The most sumptuous buildings are perfectly preserved.

Riga
Considered the largest capital in the Baltic States, Riga is a lively and multiethnic city full of major streets and green parks. The Freedom Monument is one of its major attractions.

Tallinn
Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, which used to be called Reval, has two distinct parts: the city is built partially on a hill slightly inland from the coast, whereas the oldest part, which has been inhabited since the Middle Ages, is closer to the port. Tallinn is famous for its very active open-air theatres and its art galleries, and every year it hosts a world-famous music festival.

St Petersburg
It is impossible not to be seduced by the splendour of Saint Petersburg, a monumental city with a rich tradition of history and art. Start your visit at the Hermitage, the famous complex comprising five buildings, commissioned by Catherine the Great in 1764, where more than three million items are kept, including Egyptian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Chinese and Indian archaeological artefacts.

Stockholm
Stockholm is a city with a vibrant cultural life and the majority of the country's cultural institutions such as theatres, opera and museums. In the "Venice of the North" there are two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Drottningholm Castle and the Skogskyrkogľrden Cemetery. Stockholm has also been European City of Culture. Every year Nobel Prizes for literature, physics, chemistry and medicine are awarded in the course of a formal ceremony.
