Memphis Tennessee, USA
Memphis is a city in the southwest corner of the U.S. state of Tennessee, and the county seat of Shelby County. The city is located on the 4th Chickasaw Bluff, south of the confluence of the Wolf and Mississippi rivers. The city's claims to fame include Graceland, the mansion Elvis Presley lived in during his later years. Maybe more importantly, Memphis is the considered by many to be the home of blues music.
In addition to Graceland, Memphis has many extremely popular tourist attractions, including Libertyland - a popular family amusement park featuring around many rides and attractions; Memphis Zoo - including two giant pandas and regular animal shows; and Sun Studio - known as 'the birthplace of rock 'n' roll', being the studio where Elvis Presley first recorded.
Other prominent sights in Memphis include the Pyramid Arena
the Cotton Exchange Building, St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, the Memphis Botanic Gardens, Audubon Park - a large parkland popular with Tennessee locals; and the Tom Lee Park - a major spot for lively festivals and open-air music events.
