Big Island of Hawaii
Big Island of Hawaii is a volcanic island (the eastern-most and southern-most in the Hawaiian islands chain) in the North Pacific Ocean. It is larger than all of the other Hawaiian Islands combined and is the largest island in the United States. It is home to Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa which is the largest and on of the most active volcanoes on earth.
Attractions on the Big Island includes the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where visitors can spend several days exploring. Activities and attractions in the park include the Kilauea Visitor Center, the Volcano Art Center Gallery, the Crater Rim Drive, Jaggar Museum and the Thurston Lava Tube.
