12 Night Cruise sailing from Benoa to Singapore aboard Crystal Symphony.
The 50,000-ton, 940-guest Crystal Symphony is one of the most spacious and luxurious cruise ships at sea. Onboard amenities include grand lounges, a full-service fitness facility, a Caesars Palace at Sea® casino, a lavish spa, expansive decks, two pools, award-winning cuisine and entertainment, in addition to exquisitely-appointed staterooms, more than half of which offer private verandahs.
From the moment you step into the brilliant atrium of Crystal Plaza, you'll sense the relaxed elegance and attention to detail called the Crystal Experience. It is as if a weight has lifted from your shoulders. You feel yourself at ease, with room to breathe, stretch and relax.
Take a look around at the lavish Crystal Dining Room with its vista of the sea; the elegant Galaxy Lounge showroom; sunlit Palm Court, furnished in charming white wicker like a scene from a Somerset Maughan novel. Along the marble walkway of the Avenue of the Stars, you'll find a glittering gallery of handsome shops. And outside, generous teak decks encircle expansive pools and Jacuzzis. No other ships of this size offer so much space for each guest on board.
The richness of each detail reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship. Lustrous polished marble, the glow of rare wood paneling, sparkling Murano Glass and Austrian crystal chandeliers, supple Italian leather, muted silks and custom English carpets grace our interiors, echoing the ambiance of a stately mansion. Refreshing floral bouquets delight your eye. Soft piano music plays somewhere nearby, mingled with sounds of laughter and delight as old friends meet and new acquaintances become friends.
Highlights of this cruise:
Bali
Bali is so beautiful that the natives believe heaven will be just like home, and touring this island paradise, it's easy to see why. Here are mysterious volcanic lakes and jungle-shrouded volcanoes, wondrous ancient temples, fabulously creative painters and wood-carvers, and the legendary dancers who re-enact the stories of their Hindu deities.
Semarang
Located on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia, Semarang is the capital of its province, playing a prominent role as both busy commercial center and important cultural destination. The lowlands are characterized by offices, business centers and industrial estates, while up in the hills are houses with lovely gardens and superb views. The city's current vibrancy could perhaps have been predicted, as Semarang has been a bustling trading center since the Dutch colonial era, when the Dutch East Indies Company established tobacco plantations and built infrastructure such as roads and railroads. The Dutch influence can still be seen in the older part of the city near the harbor. Other cultures, primarily that of the Chinese, also have left their imprint on Semarang and continue to be a significant part of what it is to live in and visit Java.
Penang
Located on the spice routes, the British East India Company established a colony on Penang Island in 1786. Chinese, Indians and Sumatrans soon settled the island, yet the European influence remains strong. Enjoy the Chinese embroidery and Malay daggers in the Penang Museum, marvel at the Penang Bridge (third longest in the world), or view the harbor from breezy Penang Hill.
Singapore
Singapore blends the contemporary splendor of a sparkling modern city with influences from throughout the Orient. Its history is one of riches and romance, spice trading and piracy, colonialism and growth. This island state has grown from a small fishing village to one of Asia's greatest success stories. Temples, mosques and churches stand as serene reminders of the varied collection of migrations that have graced its history. Discover the mansions and polo greens of colonial Singapore, the mystique of Chinatown and the heady aroma of spices and curry along Arab Street. You will quickly come to understand why Singapore is acclaimed as the "Crossroads of the East."
