Sailing from Avonmouth, enjoy life on board as you sail north around Cape Wrath heading for Norway. You first call at Stavanger, one of Norway's oldest towns, where the cobbled streets and preserved wooden houses of Gamle Stavanger evoke memories of its shipping and fishing heritage. The next morning, a brief stop is made at the little town of Ulvik which enables those passengers taking the overland tour to Eidfjord to disembark. Cruise the splendid Hardangerfjord with a call at Eidfjord and the option to visit the Nature and Wildlife Centre and Vrringsfossen, probably Norway's most famous waterfall. Flľm, at the end of the Aurlandsfjord, is the terminus for the Flľmsbana - the famous mountain railway which climbs to a height of 866 metres passing through 20 tunnels.
