Highlights of this cruise:
Savona
The history of Savona has always been linked to that of Genoa, with which it still has a friendly rivalry. Today the city winds its way around the port and the fortress of Priamar, the true symbol of the city.
Barcelona
Cosmopolitan, lively and young, the real Barcelona can be seen along las Ramblas, in the views from the Montjuic hill, in the construction area around the Sagrada Familia and in the picturesque Barrio Gotico and Pueblo Español.
Cadiz
At the tip of a 9km peninsula is the Andalusian city of Cadiz perched on a limestone rock overlooking the sea. Because of its stunning position and the white-washed houses with flat roofs, the city is known as the "Silver Cup".
Casablanca
Life in Casablanca rotates around the port, one of the largest and busiest in the whole of Africa, and in the backstreets of the nearby Medina: this is where the Great Mosque is, the second most important place of worship in Islam after Mecca.
Lisbon
Lisbon is one of the most fascinating cities in Europe, with many monuments in the manuelino style and museums. Not far, in Queluz, is the royal summer residence, surrounded by some of the most beautiful gardens in the world.
Valencia
On the Mediterranean and surrounded by fertile countryside, Valencia has an old and modern heart. The traditions of Spain survive in a modern district of cutting-edge museums.
Rome
In the past, Civitavecchia was the main Etruscan and Roman port. Nowadays the port combines the glory of the past with the efficiency of its modern services. The historic centre and Medieval old town are well preserved.
