8 Night Cruise sailing from Hamburg to Bergen aboard Fram.

Join us for a spring voyage to Norway, when blossoms bloom and waterfalls cascade once more along the magnificent fjords. This unique alternative to the traditional Coastal Voyage takes you on a journey along Norway's stunning western coast, home to some of the most spectacular fjords in the world.

DAY 1 Hamburg, Germany

Hamburg is Germany's second largest city, the third largest port in Europe and a thriving modern city, popular with tourists from all over the world.

DAY 2 North Sea

As today is spent at sea, you may wish to follow our onboard lectures, take in the fresh air out on deck, or just enjoy a relaxing day in our panorama lounge.

DAY 3 Lysefjord and Stavanger, Norway

The famous walls of Preikestolen tower an impressive 604 metres over the Lysefjord close to Stavanger. Despite Stavanger's unflattering nickname of "the Petroleum Capital of Norway", the city offers a charming combination of old buildings and new industries existing side by side. Norway's oldest cathedral is situated right in the city centre and around the harbour you will also find the oldest surviving wooden housing district in northern Europe.

DAY 4 Rosendal and Ulvik, Norway

Rosendal is a charming little town and home to less than 1,000 inhabitants but still houses one of the most important museums in Western Norway, the Barony Manor House. After this we will have an evening visit to Ulvik, Norway's applegrowing region which is renowned at this time of year for its beautiful blossoms.

DAY 5 Eidfjord in Hardangerfjord, Norway

Eidfjord is famed for the impressive Vrringsfossen, a 183-metre high waterfall. In Eidfjord you also find the visitors centre of the Hardangervidda National Park. We leave Eidfjord in the afternoon and sail through Hardangerfjord. At 179km, it is the second largest fjord in Norway.

DAY 6 Flľm and Balestrand in Sognefjord, Norway

Flľm is most famous for its railway; one of the steepest tracks in the world, and the most popular rail journey in Norway. From Flľm we sail into Norway's longest fjord, Sognefjord. Here we will make a stop in the picturesque village Balestrand.

DAY 7 Ĺlesund, Geiranger, Geirangerfjord, Norway

Ĺlesund is a colourful coastal town renowned for its Art Nouveau architecture. Later in the day we will sail into magnificent Geirangerfjord, voted the most iconic destination in the world by National Geographic in 2009. The fjord has also been on UNESCO's list of World Heritage
Sites since 2005.

DAY 8 Olden, Nordfjord, Hyenfjord, Norway

Enjoy a view of the spectacular Jostedalsbreen, the biggest glacier in continental Europe as we sail the Utfjord and Innviksfjord to reach Olden. From here the lovely valley stretches south some 20 kilometres between slopes rising to more than 1700 metres to the edge of the Jostedalsbre.
Olden has two churches, one in the village which was built in 1759 on the site of a stave church dating from around 1300. The new church, a short distance along the valley, was built in 1934. On the way back to the sea, we will make a late evening sailing to Hyenfjord.

DAY 9 Bergen, Norway

Our final port of call, Bergen is Norway's second largest city and the cultural capital of Norway. The city is best known for its picture-postcard Bryggen district, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
