Paul Gauguin
The m/s Paul Gauguin was designed specifically to sail the shallow seas of Tahiti and French Polynesia, visiting small ports that larger ships can't reach and effortlessly blending into the stunning natural beauty of the South Seas. She offers an extension of the informal, relaxing environment of the islands, coupled with five-star service, comfort, and luxury. Spacious suites and staterooms (more than 70% with private balconies), an onboard watersports marina, a choice of three open-seating dining venues, and an extensive spa are among her luxurious attributes. The atmosphere aboard the ship radiates warmth, informality, and Polynesian flair. If you book your cruise now, you'll be sailing aboard The Gauguin at her finest, having recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation. And our beloved troupe of Gauguines-local Tahitians who serve as cruise staff, entertainers, and storytellers-add the unique personality of Tahiti to every sailing.

Watersports MarinaDive into the blue and come face to face with a colorful parade of marine life, from magnificent parrot fish and clownfish to stately sea turtles. Your first dive into crystal-clear waters will spoil you for anything else under the sun-or the seven seas.
Watersports are a highlight of the Polynesian experience, and the m/s Paul Gauguin is constructed to take full advantage of these irresistible waters, with accessibility to ports and adventures that other ships can't offer. The ship's small footprint enables it to navigate lagoons that larger ships would never dare to enter. And our retractable, onboard Watersports Marina brings you down to sea level, where you can hop aboard a windsurfer, launch a kayak, try waterskiing, or embark on our Zodiac for optional diving adventures.
Even if you've never been diving, you can take advantage of our onboard scuba lessons. The m/s Paul Gauguin is the only luxury ship in French Polynesia to offer PADI certification onboard for novice divers as well as classes at all levels, from snorkeling to advanced scuba diving techniques, supervised by our own staff of PADI dive masters. For the convenience of our guests, all necessary equipment, including an air compressor to refill scuba tanks, is onboard.

EntertainmentCasino and Piano Bar
On any evening, pulses run high in the Le Casino. Or when refreshments are in order, the Piano Bar provides a warmly relaxing environment.
Le Grand Salon
Watch spectacular performances, such as an electrifying Polynesian show featuring the arts of the islands in the main lounge. One night it might be the soaring acappella harmonies of himene songs. Another might feature a thrilling performance of ote'a - a complex line dance accompanied by drums telling the ancestral legends of the Polynesian people. Later in your cruise, you'll have a chance to learn how to dance in true Polynesian style from our wonderful Gauguines performers.
La Palette Lounge
Sing along at the piano bar in this spectacular observation lounge atop the ship. At night it's transformed into a romantic nightclub where a chanteuse sings the Parisian blues and couples sway on the indoor/outdoor dance floor.
