Multi-award winning Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises is a family owned business headed by Jeff and Lynne Ralston, who have lived and operated in the Kimberley for over 10 years. Small numbers allow us to offer personal first class service and we are dedicated in delivering this assistance from the initial inquiry through to the conclusion of the expedition.
The company operates between the months of March through to November and cruises the North West coast of Western Australia between Broome and Wyndham.
Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises specialises in adventure live-aboard wilderness cruises to the spectacular Kimberley region and offers a variety of nature based itineraries.
The Kimberley Quest II is a 25 metre fully air conditioned expedition vessels equipped with helipads. The vessel has been custom built for the remote Kimberley region, enabling it to explore estuaries and river systems inaccessible to larger boats. The vessel has the luxury of all private en-suite cabins, several deck areas for relaxation, sightseeing and alfresco dining. The talented chef offers a diverse range of cuisine, incorporating some of the best local produce and of course Kimberley tastes such as barramundi, mud crabs and oysters.
The 1800 million year old Kimberley remains one of the world's last unique wilderness areas, featuring rugged escarpments, dramatic ranges, spectacular gorges and majestic waterfalls. The rugged scenery of the cathedral like gorges are softened by tons of water cascading over these ancient escarpments, lush and green after the rains the Kimberley is awash with colour as the flora displays itself. Days are filled with a myriad of activities that will ensure your exploration of this wilderness is comprehensive. There is always something rare and wonderful to look out for as you cruise estuaries and inlets aboard our excursion tenders. There are plenty of opportunities to cool off in freshwater pools in safe and unspoilt surroundings. The knowledgeable crew will share their secrets, guiding guests to rare art galleries, pointing out the flora and fauna and explaining the history of early settlement of this remote area. Our guides are fishing enthusiasts with many years experience enabling them to put you on the spot and catch the fish or hopefully the Barra of your dreams!!
The Horizontal Waterfalls, the spectacular islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago, Montgomery Reef, King Cascade, Mitchell Falls and the awe inspiring King George Falls are just some of the icons you may visit and they will leave you speechless.
