Portugal, The Douro Valley
The Douro Valley, with its terraced vines clinging to the slopes, changing colours, languorous river and whitewashed villages perched on its flanks, is a valley of wonders and spectacular sites. Explore humanity's world heritage, as well as the domain of a wine whose quality has earned it worldwide renown. You are invited to join the ranks of fervent and discriminating connaisseurs!

1st Day: France - PORTO Welcome on board from 17h. Settling into your cabin and presentation of the crew followed by a welcome cocktail served in the lounge. Dinner on board. In the evening, an optional excursion by coach to explore Porto by night.

2nd Day: PORTO - REGUA Buffet breakfast on board. Departure of the cruise for Regua, sailing through the Douro valley which will enchant you with its wooded landscapes and numerous meanders. We will be sailing past the gigantic lock at Carrapatello, the highest in Europe at 35 metres. Arrival in Regua around 14h. Departure by coach for the optional guided tour of Lamego. During this tour, you will discover the Nossa Senhora dos Remedios sanctuary and the cathedral. Back on board in Regua around 18h30. Dinner followed by an evening of dancing.

3rd Day: REGUA - PINHAO - PORTO ANTIGO Buffet breakfast on board and departure for the optional excursion to explore Solar de Mateus in Vila Real, a magnificent 16th century manor house, owned by a family of the Portuguese aristocracy. Tour of the manor and the French style gardens. Back on board in Pinhão around 13h. Lunch and departure of the cruise for Porto Antigo. We will be sailing through the very heart of the most famous vineyards in Porto, alongside magnificent hills covered with vine trellises, planted in terraces up to 700 metres high plunging majestically down towards the river. Arrival in Porto Antigo around 18h. Dinner on board, followed by an evening's entertainment. Overnight stopover.

4th Day: PORTO ANTIGO - PORTO Buffet breakfast on board. Departure of the cruise for Porto. A morning's sailing in the charming Duoro valley. Games and aperitifs in the lounge. Lunch on board. Exploring Porto (optional tour). You will be visiting the second largest city in Portugal and one of the oldest cities in Europe. We will visit one of the most famous wine cellars in Porto, followed by a tasting** of this "precious nectar". Back to the boat for dinner. Free evening in Porto.

5th Day: PORTO - GUIMARAES*- BRAGA*- PORTO Breakfast on board. Free morning in Porto. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, an optional excursion by coach to Guimarães. This historic town is closely linked with the formation of the Portuguese national identity in the 12th century. It has conserved some exceptional monuments from the medieval settlement up to the present day. Continuation via Braga, also known as the "Rome of Portugal". It is one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal. Back on board for the evening. Gala dinner followed by a traditional evening.

6th Day: PORTO - France Buffet breakfast on board, disembarkation at 9h. End of our journey.
