7 Night Cruise sailing from Southampton roundtrip aboard Adventure of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean International have taken cruising to a whole new level. Enjoy one-of-a-kind features like an ice-skating rink, the Royal Promenade and a rock-climbing wall just for starters. How did they accommodate all of these innovative ideas on one cruise ship? Simple. They built a bigger ship - the 138,000-ton, 3,114-guest Adventure of the Seas. Innovations on this and other Voyager-family cruise ships add up to more space for every guest and include enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and exceptional recreational facilities.
Highlights of this cruise:
Southampton
One of the world's most famous ports, Southampton served as the launching point for the Mayflower and the Titanic. Today, it's one of the busiest passenger ports.
Vigo
A busy, mid-sized port on the Atlantic Coast, Vigo is located just north of Portugal and is Galicia's largest and most industrialised city, dating back to Roman times. If you're a beach lover, then Vigo is for you. You can soak up the rays at one of several sparkling beaches, including Samil, Alcabre and Canido.
Gijon
Situated on the Asturian coast, Gijon offers an attractive combination of seafaring flavour, heritage buildings and modern urban development. The city began as a fishing village nearly 3,000 years ago and has developed into an important port on the Atlantic coast of Spain. The main port, called El Musel, is one of the largest in the north of Spain. Most of the streets are cobblestone, barely two cars wide and pave the way to many renovated buildings that display the colourful life of the village. The region of Asturias is also known for possessing some of the greenest hills in Spain.
Bilbao
Bilbao, Spain's sixth-largest city, is being revitalised with the help of astounding strides in art and architecture. New life arrived in this commercial/industrial hub via the astonishing Bilbao Guggenheim Museum; the new, sleek glass and steel tube metro system; and the stunning glass-decked parabolic arch footbridge above the Nervion River. Bilbao also provides an excellent home base from which to explore the diverse Basque country, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pyrenees.
Le Havre
Paris, situated in the north-central part of France, is a beautiful city renowned for the achievements of its artists. The city lies on both banks of the River Seine. The north bank was historically the area where royalty and the wealthy merchant-class lived, and today it is the government and commercial district. While the south bank, with its image of an intellectual and bohemian playground, is the site where the university was founded.
