Castaway Cay, Bahamas

Enquire about cruises in this region

Castaway Cay is a private island or "out island" in the Bahamas which serves as an exclusive port of call for the Disney Cruise Line ships Disney Wonder and Disney Magic. It is located near Great Abaco Island, and was formerly known as Gorda Cay. It is owned in full by The Walt Disney Company.

Disney characters greet you on shore, and visitors can choose 3 separate beaches reserved exclusively for teens, adults only or a family beach. Adults can enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of Serenity Bay, their private palm-lined beach, while teens enjoy the volleyball and tetherball courts adjacent to their beach. Families congregate at Castaway Family Beach and Scuttle's Cove is reserved for children.

Activities include snorkeling amongst the erected "shipwrecks" and sunken treasures, sailing or paddle a sea kayak, swim or enjoy the calm waters on a tube or raft. Lounge in the midday sun or have a relaxing massage in the open-air cabanas. Bike riding and volleyball are also available.
